We are now looking for an E-commerce Merchandising Specialist, who will be responsible for curating and optimizing our online product offering and website content.

His/her focus will be on creating visually engaging product presentations, implementing effective navigation and search functionalities, and ensuring a seamless user experience that aligns with our brand and customer needs.

The person will collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and design teams to drive online sales and improve customer experience.

Main Responsibilities:

• Curate and optimize the visual presentation of products on the website to create compelling and engaging online shopping experiences;
• Implement site merchandising strategies to showcase product collections, promotions, and seasonal offerings effectively across categories including Road, Urban, Touring, MX, MTB, Auto and Casuals;
• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align merchandising efforts with marketing campaigns and product launches;
• Optimize website navigation, filtering, and search functionality to enhance product discoverability and user experience;
• Analyze site performance data, user behavior, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for site merchandising improvements;
• A/B test various site merchandising elements to optimize conversion rates and improve key performance metrics;
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date product information, pricing, and availability on the website, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity;
• Work closely with the content team to create compelling product descriptions, banners, and promotional content that is authentic to the Alpinestars consumer;
• Assist with customer segmentation and personalization initiatives to deliver tailored product recommendations and experiences.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management or a related field – master’s degree is a plus;
• 3+ years of experience in ecommerce merchandising;
• Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and site merchandising tools to curate visually appealing product displays and optimize the customer shopping experience - shopify experience is a plus;
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret website data and customer behavior to inform site merchandising decisions and improve user experience;
• Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making to optimize site merchandising strategies and drive performance improvements;
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple products and promotional initiatives simultaneously.
• Proficiency in content management systems and ecommerce platforms to update and manage website content effectively.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and their impact on site merchandising and visibility.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
